WE PROMOTE NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION AND LET KNOWLEDGE GROW
We at Billie Green want to inspire with plant-based, innovative products, because nutrition is a matter close to our hearts. The foundations for a balanced, healthy diet are laid from an early age. We are therefore committed to inspiring young generations about nutrition and sustainability.
We therefore support the award-winning, practice-oriented educational program "GemüseAckerdemie" for schools. In the GemüseAckerdemie, children and young people between the ages of 6 and 12 grow vegetables on the school's own farmland. They experience with all their senses where food comes from and how it grows.

Children and young people can learn what it means to sow seeds, ensure growth and grow crunchy carrots in the GemüseAckerdemie educational program. Thanks to accompanying educational materials, pupils look beyond the edge of the field and explore further sustainability topics. The goal of the multi-year educational program:
"A generation that knows what it eats".

Nature-based learning spaces like these increase the appreciation of growing and taking responsibility for food, as well as the responsibility for rearing it. In 2023, more than 1,000 schools across German-speaking countries have already joined in - and the number is set to rise.
Thanks to our Billie Green community, who have been so energetic in their feasting and thus supported our funding project at the same time, we are able to support two schools: Thomas-Morus-Schule in Osnabrück and Freiherr von Stein Schule in Nordhorn.
